Free pads and tampons at ACCHOs. Period.

Free pads and tampons are now available at Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations. Period.

This means more people will have access to free pads and tampons when and where they need them.

We know pads and tampons aren’t a luxury and are essential to health and wellbeing. That’s why the Victorian Government is making free pads and tampons available across the state.

About the free pads and tampons program

Our nation-leading program is a $23 million investment to provide free pads and tampons in public places. It is now rolling out statewide. This means Victorians from all corners of the state will soon have easier access to free pads and tampons when and where they need them.

Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations are now among the places Victorians can find vending machines with free pads and tampons.

More vending machines are coming. Sites include public libraries and health centres, TAFEs, staffed train stations, sporting precincts and major cultural institutions. All local government areas nominated venues to ensure coverage across the state.
